An absolute stunner from the Outer Hebrides. It seems like in a month there's been a minor avalanche of truly original ambient and experimental artists. Or maybe I'm just slow in noticing. But artists like Conducive and Coagulant are pushing boundaries but The Lonely Bell may be my favorite. He captures the desolate melancholy of the very best dark ambient while also striking hard at personal pain and anguish creating music of vast range and depth. As good a soundtrack for sorrow as I've heard.
